On the last day of school before spring break which ultimately turned into the last day of classes on campus, football players like junior Nathan Grychka were maxing out in the weight room. Spring sports ended almost as soon as they started and footballs spring game was cancelled.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has instructed all 32 teams to close their facilities to all but a select few employees as a safeguard against the new coronavirus. Leaping up to catch the ball before the Woodlands middle linebacker Blane Corekin can make a play, senior Dwight McGlothern snags the ball for a first down. The Panthers plan to overpower the Generals defense tomorrow as they did in other games throughout the season to bring home a first round playoff win. According to MaxPreps, McGlothern is on record for 1085 yards so far this season with help from the arm of quarterback Montrell Bolton and the beefy Panther O-Line.

With a hard-fought battle under their belts, junior running back Kendal Taylor hoists up the victory cup as other players like senior tackle Kelvin Scott celebrate. Taylor scored six touchdowns to help edge out the Round Rock Dragons and advance the Panthers to Round 3 against Waco Midway on Sat., Dec. 1. Taylor was also named Boys Athlete of the Week by the Houston Chronicle for his outstanding efforts.
