Drilling into the metal to ultimately create a competition robot,
The Klein Oak Vex Robotic Program offers students hands-on opportunities to show skills in Robotics and engineering and to build upon these groups within a community. This program and its activities include creating and producing robots that will compete in various robotic competitions throughout. Throughout the school year, roboticists learn and work with each other to communicate ideas to create a final product. The official sponsor is CTE teacher Daniel Mackey in room 330A.
“Ultimately the goal is to compete at Worlds, which is the largest Robotics competition in the world,” senior Caden Martin said. “We’re currently building a robot that will score points for the competition.”
