“Competition motivates humans to strive for greatness,” art teacher Matthew Golden said. “I encourage Oak art students to enter their work into competitions because the process provides an avenue for students to exhibit their artwork, pushes them to reach beyond their preconceived limitations, and fosters a sense of belonging to the greater creative community.”
