Special costume days announced to create spirited environment

Panthers are getting another exciting year of dress-up fun days and upcoming events this year. The Panthers can expect dress-ups for Homecoming, Red Ribbon Week and Breast Cancer Awareness.

“[We offer dress up days] to show school spirit and support our team,” Student Council president Sarah Aly said.

School spirit is vital at Klein Oak, and thanks to the Student Council, Panthers have fun and sometimes competitive ways to show off their school spirit.

“Dress-up to have fun making memories and have a balance between work and play,” Aly said.

Students are excited about the lineup of outlandish outfits. Panthers kick off the football dress-up days by getting in their most bold animal print attire. Along the way, they can be seen to “lei out the Cougars and disenchant the Tigers” in Disney gear.

“I do it for the competition,” Logan Carlson said with a spirit for competition. Like many other Panthers, they’re getting geared up for the dress-up hoopla.

Friday 9/23 Klein Collins Tigers AWAY: DISENCHANT THE TIGERS; WEAR DISNEY GEAR

Monday 9/26: Superheroes vs Super Villain

Tuesday 9/27: Color War; Seniors-Green; Juniors-Blue; Sophomores-Yellow; Freshman-Red

Wednesday 9/28:Country vs. Country Club

Thursday GAME 9/29: Mums and Garters

Friday CARNIVAL 9/30: KO Spirit day

Friday 10/7 Klein AWAY: BLIND THE BEARKATS; WEAR NEON

Friday 10/21 Waller HOME: HOLIDAZE WALLER; WEAR HOLIDAY CLOTHES

Friday 10/28 TMHS (Tomball) AWAY: WORK OUT THE WILDCATS; WEAR WORKOUT CLOTHES (Must be in school dress code)

Friday 11/4 Klein Forest HOME: PUT THE EAGLES TO SLEEP; WEAR PJS
