Oh, SNAPP!

School Sponsored Party After Prom at Main Event

Many people know we have an after prom celebration, but they don’t know who puts it on, what’s offered, and why you should want a ticket now.

The Senior Night After Prom Party, or SNAPP, is a nonprofit organization at Klein Oak that raises money throughout the school year in order to provide the seniors and their dates a place to go and have fun after prom in hopes to keep them drug and alcohol free while still having a good time. It involves prize giveaways, games, food, and entertainment for all attendees. It gives an opportunity for seniors who do not want to attend their prom to go somewhere and have a good time that night.

Fundraisers throughout the year are put in place in order to raise money to provide prizes for students to win while at SNAPP. One of the most well-known fundraiser around school is the sale of Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits every Friday in the commons.

SNAPP starts at 12:00 a.m. on May 18, directly after prom, at Main Event and ends at 6:00 a.m. that morning. Once at the party, one may not leave until at least 5:00 a.m. It is the cheapest it’s ever been to attend at $20 a person to enter, which includes a t-shirt along with the ticket.
