Starting off the new school year with new administration and renovations has pushed the school into a new direction. Former Associate Principal Dr. Brian Greeney returned as head principal after serving two years in Wunderlich administration.
“I love being back here at Klein Oak and I’m really excited about this school year,” Dr. Greeney said. “This was the first place that I ever taught at, it’s like home.”
At Wunderlich Middle School, Dr. Greeney served as head principal, learning the ins and outs of administration. As a head principal, Greeney was able to gain experience in leadership and insight on how a school runs.
“My previous job as head principal at Wunderlich has prepared me most for this position,” Dr. Greeney said. “I’m also comfortable here because I know the building and I know the majority of the staff.”
Dr. Greeney plans to apply his experience of administration to the school. With his skills in goal setting, he also plans to improve the school in academics and spirit.
“This year I have a high expectation for myself, the staff, and the students,” Dr. Greeney said. “This year I hope to see more school spirit, more student input, and above all, higher achievement.”
