A year and a half after the club’s abrupt end, the Young Women’s Leadership Club has made its return. This club, led by science teacher Sally Snook,  is a safe and open environment for young women to discuss current issues, promote women’s causes and help the community.

“A few of my former students had asked me to be the sponsor,” Snook said. “They told me what the club was about (women promoting other women, community service, etc.) so I wanted to be a part of the club with them.” 

The club has around 50 members and gathers on Tuesday or Wednesday, spending their meetings discussing topics such as respect, personal growth and more. Email [email protected] for more information.
