Question–
What do you do daily in order to help the school function efficiently?
Answer–
My roles and responsibilities vary greatly from day to day, however, typically I ensure that students have a safe environment in which to learn. I monitor student behavior, support teachers and staff and ensure that students have access to a sound instructional program. I do this by visiting classrooms, being in the halls as much as possible and attending professional meetings to ensure quality instruction to takes place in the classroom.

How long have you been in your position?
Answer–
I have been an Assistant Principal for Klein ISD for 12 years.
Question–
What college did you go to?
Answer–
I attended the University of Houston (Go Coogs!). I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree from there as well.
Question–
What’s a little known fact about you? (ex. part of a band)
Answer–
I used to be a Spanish teacher and still speak Spanish fluently. I love Latin dance and Latin music. Most of the time my car radio is blasting Cumbia or Salsa.
Question–
What’s something you do outside of school? (ex. hobby, volunteer, gardening, etc.)
Answer–
I enjoy spending time with my two girls visiting museums, cultural events and exploring different areas of Houston. I am also an active member of my church.
