Vampire Diaries fans are screaming! Beloved Alaric (Matthew Davis) is back and better than ever, along with his twin daughters and Hope Mikaelson. The series follows the family and Hope’s journey through “The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young and Gifted,” a safe place for teens with supernatural abilities. In this series, the girls are all grown up (or as grown up as you can be at 15!) and developing supernatural powers of their own, and their family has a lot to handle.

Alaric is given a much larger role as a father, headmaster of the school, and father figure to the students, specifically Hope. Previously on the “Vampire Diaries,” Alaric and the girls had smaller roles in that show and are now in the group of main characters. The story takes off at the boarding school where the students are facing different supernatural challenges, on top of being teenagers. If you are a “Vampire Diaries” fan, along with its other spin-off “The Originals”, then you need to get to your recordings list ASAP and make sure you que up this show.

Legacies airs Thursdays, Oct. 25 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
